Nix es un nombre que me gusta y define mucho. Nix es la diosa griega de la noche y también significa «nada» en lenguas germánicas.
nací en Caracas, Venezuela y crecí viajando por todas las Antillas, sumergida en las diferentes culturas, colores y ritmos del Caribe.
desde muy chiqui sabía que mi camino estaba vinculado con la naturaleza y me comprometí a hacer de mi camino de vida un camino con ella (cómo no?), estudié biología (al mismo tiempo probé muchas carreras y disciplinas) y agregué el teatro y el performance a mi vida como una herramienta de descubrimiento y expresión. Conocí y trabajé con mi ídolo de toda la vida Jane Goodall por unos 5 años. Entré en un estado de búsqueda desesperada (¿de qué?: pues de mí ) y en ese camino de buscar afuera experimenté vivir en París con la excusa de estudiar en Le Cordon Bleu.
entre pausa y pausa siempre fui muy curioso por la cocina y por experimentar con mis manos, hacer mezclas, jaleas, preparaciones, jugar y jugar con la magia y las delicias. Entre pausa y pausa nació mi primer emprendimiento *cook·in·tree* , que comencé con mi amiga Laura Huérfano y luego comencé a experimentar hacer mis propios productos de aseo personal y ahí comenzó una interacción con la herbología y mi conexión con las plantas. Después de Londres, mi hermana Gia con toda su energía corporativa y expansiva me propuso crear una marca de cosméticos naturales y ahí nació deplanta , probablemente me conoces por ella.
Al nacer deplanta mi compromiso con la naturaleza evolucionó a tal punto en el que para seguir protegiendo la biodiversidad del planeta debía adentrarme a mi propia biodiversidad. Así comencé un camino de autoconocimiento, sanación y evolución espiritual. Comencé un proceso con Patricia Macaya aprendiendo de la terapia vibracional, cuencos y psicomagia. Al equipo de grandes maestras se le unió mi reflexóloga Catalina Torres que impulsó en mí el acercamiento al trabajo de sanación del cuerpo. Practico vinyasa yoga, llevo el proceso de mis cosméticos hacia una exploración en medicina Ayurveda y reconfiguration del ADN.
Me he permito transitar por mis mundos internos, mis miedos más profundos y mis oscuridades más aterradoras, así como me permito abrirme al brillo y a la magia de la expansión y transformación de la mente inconsciente y generar así día a día una nueva armonía con mi mundo interior y por ende con lo que me rodea.
Hoy en día vivo mi vida entre un pueblo encantado en Colombia llamado Barichara, con mi gato con mis amigos que me visitan de vez en cuando y aquí me encontrarás bailando, pintando, cocinando y viviendo delicioso con la naturaleza y….entre mis viajes alrededor del mundo.

Nix is a name that I like and defines a lot. Nix is the Greek goddess of the night and also means «nothing» in Germanic languages.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up traveling all over the Antilles, immersed in the different cultures, colors and rhythms of the Caribbean.
From a very young age I knew that my path was linked to nature and I promised to make my path of life a path with her (how could I not?), I studied biology (at the same time I tried many careers and disciplines) and I added theater and the performance to my life as a tool of discovery and expression. I knew and worked with my lifelong idol Jane Goodall for about 5 years. I entered into a state of desperate search (for what? Well, for me) and on that path of searching abroad I experienced living in Paris with the excuse of studying at Le Cordon Bleu.
between pauses and pauses I was always very curious about cooking and experimenting with my hands, making mixes, jellies, preparations, playing and playing with magic and delights. My first venture *cook·in·tree* was born, which began with my friend Laura Huérfano and then began to experiment with making my own personal hygiene products and there began an interaction with herbology and my connection with plants. After London, my sister Gia, with all her corporate and expansive energy, will affect me to create a brand of natural cosmetics and that’s where deplanta was born, you probably know me by her.
When deplanta was born, my commitment to nature evolved to such a point that in order to continue protecting the planet’s biodiversity, I had to go inside into my own biodiversity. Thus I began a path of self-knowledge, healing and spiritual evolution. I started a process with Patricia Macaya learning about vibrational therapy, bowls and psychomagic. The team of great teachers was joined by my reflexologist Catalina Torres who promoted in me the approach to the healing work of the body. I practice vinyasa yoga, I take the process of my cosmetics towards an exploration in Ayurveda medicine and DNA reconfiguration.
I have allowed myself to travel through my internal worlds, my deepest fears and my most terrifying darkness, just as I allow myself to open up to the brilliance and magic of the expansion and transformation of the unconscious mind and thus generate a new harmony with my world day by day. interior and therefore with what surrounds me.
Today I live my life in an enchanted town in Colombia called Barichara, with my cat and my friends who visit me from time to time and here you will find me dancing, painting, cooking and living deliciously with nature and… among my trips around the world.
